Adam Garcia
(The Atomic Gladiator)
MUAY THAI
Professional & Amateur Muay Thai Trainer
Retired Professional Muay Thai Fighter
Always an athlete, Adam competed in Football & Track while
growing up in Houston Texas but he always held a fascination for the
fighting sports. After a stint in the Navy Adam began taking Kenpo
Karate classes at Poway Kenpo Karate and earned his way to a Brown Belt
level before his passion for Muay Thai took over. Adam trained
extensively with Muay Thai champ Melchor Menor among others and fought
amateur for many years, earning several title belts before turning pro
in his mid 30's. After a serious injury caused Adam to retire from
professional fighting he turned his passion for Muay Thai into coaching
and teaching.
Tom DiFrancesco
BOXING
Professional & Amateur Boxing Trainer
Retired Professional Boxer
Tom's father
was a police officer and boxing trainer in Baltimore MD. Tom put
on his first pair of boxing gloves at age 4, boxing with the son's of
his dad's colleagues.
Tom moved to San Diego at age 12 and boxed in the Boys Club
amateur program. He was 16-0 with 11 knockouts then trained off
and on over the next 10 years. At age 27 he renewed his
competitive juices, training and sparring with most of the top pros in
the San Diego area at the time. He had 2 professional fights, both wins,
before serious health issues forced him to retire.
When his health issues were resolved he was too old to consider a
career as a fighter so he became a trainer and manager of fighters.
Tom has trained almost 40 fighters since then and his 2 top pros were
ranked #1 & #3 in the world and fought for world titles (Danny
‘Dynamite’ Perez & ‘Smooth’ Rodney Jones). As a
trainer & manager Tom's fighters are 200+ wins with less than 25
losses.
